Queen B is Officially a Billionaire! Beyonce has done it! The global superstar has officially joined the billionaire club making history as the fifth musician ever to hit the $1 billion mark, according to Forbes.

Yes, you read that right. Queen B is now part of a very exclusive squad that includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, and, of course, her husband Jay-Z, who Forbes estimates is worth a jaw-dropping $2.5 billion.

From pop star to powerhouse mogul

Beyonce’s journey to billionaire status is nothing short of legendary. Forbes had previously pegged her net worth at $800 million predicting she would smash through the billion-dollar barrier soon. And she did.

Her 2023 ‘Renaissance World Tour’ alone raked in nearly $600 million.

And she didn’t just sing her way to the bank. Queen B turned her concert into a blockbuster film and struck a direct deal with AMC theaters. The result? She pocketed nearly half of the film’s $44 million worldwide box office take. Talk about smart moves off the stage!

Cowboy Carter and Grammy glory

2024 was another crown year for Beyonce. Her album ‘Cowboy Carter’, which explores the Black roots of country music, won the Grammy for Album of the Year.

Fun fact: despite her superstar status and multiple nominations, this was Beyonce’s very first Grammy win for this top honour.

The tour brought in over $400 million in ticket sales and an additional $50 million from merchandise. While some European shows, like at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Paris’s Stade de France, faced slower ticket sales initially, they still featured the priciest top-ticket for any artist in the UK in 2025 at £950.

The lowest ticket? A still-steep £71.

Big money, big moves

Beyonce’s income didn’t stop with music. A special halftime performance for Netflix’s first Christmas Day NFL game reportedly earned her $50 million. On top of that, her work in commercials, like a series of Levi’s ads, added another $10 million to her fortune.

Meanwhile, the celebrity billionaire list keeps growing, but not without debate. Bloomberg’s billionaire index recently listed Selena Gomez with a reported net worth of $1.3 billion, but Forbes counters with a more conservative estimate of $700 million.
